The May meeting of Football Memories at Rugby Park saw referee Douglas Hope share some fantastic stories about his career as an official.
Douglas discussed the six-second rule, his views on the introduction of the 'technical area' as well as all the characters he had to deal with in his rich and varied career covering matches up and down the country.
The group were sworn to secrecy about the players and managers who were most challenging but safe to say some clubs featured more than others.
After his talk, the group enjoyed a nourishing pie and a rummage through the fantastic new Memory Box, which was presented at our last home game against Aberdeen.
Enjoying the scorching Bank Holiday weather, the group took the chance to have a group picture taken by the dugouts.
On June 4, Craig Brown will be joining us for a World Cup Special. The group meets on the first Monday of the month at the Park Suite from 2.30pm.You can find out more by contacting Jim Baird at Alzheimer Scotland on 07584 327875
