Alex Dyer has urged Killie to remain patient as they aim to finish top of Betfred Cup Group H.
The Killie assistant spoke to the media ahead of Saturday's clash with Queen's Park with victory ensuring we'll secure qualification for the second round.
After victories against Dumbarton and Spartans, Dyer is looking for more of the same.
He said: "We're slowly getting back to where we want to be. They've had a good pre-season and trained hard.
"They last two matches have been excellent, they've worked hard and been patient and disciplined in the games.
"We need to be patient again because they will come here, sit and try and make it difficult for us. We have to play the way we do and with a little bit of attitude to get the win and finish top of the group."
Asked about the message he will deliver to the players before the match, Dyer responded: "Win the game, it's as simple as that. Do what it takes to win the game.
"If we have to win it in the first minute or 90th minute plus then that's what it takes.
"As long as we don't lose our shape or discipline and we keep going and doing the things we're good at then we'll be fine."
