Clarke: No prizes are handed out in December

Clarke: No prizes are handed out in December

in #KillieStories December 4, 2018

Steve Clarke won't be paying too much attention to Killie's lofty league position at this time of year, instead focusing on picking up as many points as possible.

Gary Holt's Livingston side are next to visit Rugby Park with our weekend win over Hibernian briefly lifting us to second in the Premiership before Rangers' Tynecastle triumph moved us back to third spot.

The Killie manager hopes his team can maintain the same performance levels as shown on Saturday but understands that we face an extremely tricky opponent in newly promoted Livingston.

He said: "It’s all about game to game. Like I said there’s no point looking at the table and seeing where you can be in December.

"There are no prizes or finishing results so for us the task is to concentrate on the game. It will be a difficult game against a good Livingston team.

"People keep trying to say we’re under the radar, I’m not so sure because people talk about us quite a lot. Livingston are definitely under the radar.

"They are a good team, well organised and difficult to beat and play against and we expect another tough game tomorrow night."

Eamonn Brophy has had a small reaction to playing in Saturday’s win and will be assessed ahead of the match while Stuart Findlay and Bright Enobakhare remain out.
