The Kilmarnock Football Club is delighted to announce that Iain Wilson has signed a new contract, which will see the youngster extend his stay at Rugby Park for a further two years.
Iain, 18, made his first team debut in December 2016 against Aberdeen and went on to make 20 appearances in the 2016/17 Ladbrokes Premiership.
The midfielder, who has been capped at U17, U19 and U20 levels for Scotland, made four appearances at the recent Toulon Tournament in Scot Gemmill's U20 squad.
After signing his new contract, Iain said: "I'm delighted to extend my stay here at Kilmarnock for another two seasons. Since my debut in December, I have gained invaluable experience being involved in the first team and I am looking forward to getting back training and keep myself in Lee's thoughts for the upcoming new season".
Manager, Lee McCulloch, added: "Iain has done tremendously well since being involved in the first team last season. He has taken in every piece of advice from myself and Peter, but also from his older teammates and has worked extremely hard in training. He also had a very successful Toulon Tournament with the Scotland U20s, where he played superb".
Everyone at Kilmarnock FC would like to congratulate Iain on his well-deserved new contract and wish him the best of luck for the upcoming season.
