Greg Kiltie made his comeback as Killie's Development Squad secured a 1-1 draw with Ross County.
Andy Millen named a strong side at Rugby Park with first team players Calum Waters, Scott Boyd and Dom Thomas all featuring.
County had Billy Mckay and Thomas Mikkelsen in their side and the pair combined to give the Staggies the lead as Mikkelsen slid the ball past Ross Miller.
Killie dominated the rest of the half as Thomas went close to an equaliser only to see his effort strike the post.
Kiltie's comeback lasted just short of the hour mark when he was replaced by Will Graham while Dan Scally replaced Alex Samizadeh.
Frustration continued for the home side as Innes Cameron robbed the ball from a County defender at the halfway line before running in on goal but he screwed his shot wide at the crucial moment.
However they did draw level when Calum Waters' excellent cross was headed home by Scally.
Thomas came so close to winning the match but once again he was denied by the woodwork.
