Steve Clarke praised the impact of Killie duo Lee Erwin and Jordan Jones during the 2-0 home victory over St Johnstone.
Striker Erwin made the most of being handed a spot in the starting eleven to add to Kris Boyd's penalty to push Killie above Hearts and into fifth place.
Winger Jones caused constant problems for the St Johnstone defence throughout the match, earning the spot kick before being fouled by Jason Kerr who saw red.
"He was outstanding," Clarke said about the Northern Ireland international.
"Lee Erwin for me was outstanding (too)."Jordan will get the headlines because he is quick and direct.
"He's a good player and a player I would pay to watch because he's exciting, commits defenders and tries to make things happen. He's been good for us."
Killie are now one point ahead of Hearts with one game in hand in fifth but Clarke says he won't relax until we are mathematically safe of relegation. He added: "You know me, I won't get too carried away! We are three more points away from the bottom.
"I said before, if we reach the split and we're 16 points away from the play-off place, we can really attack the last five games, whichever half of the table we are in."
