Greg Taylor captains Scotland in Toulon playoff loss

Greg Taylor was named Scotland captain as the national team finished fourth in the Toulon Tournament.

The Killie defender wore the armband from the start for the third-place playoff against Turkey before being replaced by Chelsea's Billy Gilmour in the second half.

Scotland lost out on penalty kicks after a 0-0 during normal time.

Chelsea ace Harvey St Clair produced a wonderful piece of skill to win a spot kick in normal time but he saw his effort saved by the Turkish goalkeeper.

Killie's Iain Wilson showed his versatility during the match, starting in midfield before moving to centre back beside St Johnstone's Jason Kerr following Taylor's substitution.

With no breakthrough the match went straight to penalties with Oliver Burke's miss proving crucial as Turkey scored all five of their attempts to finish in third spot.
