Kilmarnock Football Club will hold a Remembrance Service on Sunday, November 11 at 1pm.
The service will take place in front of the memorial plaques outside the Frank Beattie Stand and mark the contribution of Kilmarnock FC players, who paid the ultimate sacrifice during World War I and World War II.
The service will be conducted by club chaplain Reverend James McNay.
We will remember Alexander Barrie (Highland Light Infantry), Alexander McCurdie (Argyll & Sutherland Highanders), Daniel McKellar (Highland Light Infantry), James Maxwell (Seaforth Highlanders), John Rollo (Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve), David Slimmon, M.M. (Royal Engineers) and Charles Vickers (Royal Field Artillery) who were killed in action during World War I.
We will also remember Benjamin Thomson of the Merchant Navy, who died in action during World War II.
