Alan Combe visited Silverwood Primary School and Allan Russell visited St Andrews Primary School as part of a run of events during World Book Week to celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 4th March 2010.

They spoke to the children about their enjoyment of reading and answered questions on both reading and football.

The visit was aimed at encouraging more children to take up reading or continue it as part of their learning development.
