Kilmarnock u17 v Hamilton Acc u17 - Sunday 29th August
The under 17s took on Hamilton at Greenwood Academy on Sunday. It was a very entertaining game with both sides showing some exciting attacking football particularly in the first half.Killie started very brightly and created a few chances before Chris Johnston scored after their keeper had parried a shot.Hamilton came more into it and took advantage of some bright wing play and some mistakes by the Killie defence to score on a few occasions.Kiillie continued to loo dangerous with Matthew Kennedy ,Barrie McKay and Chris Johnston proving a handful.Killie'sdefece tightened up in the second half and Mikey McKitrick scored with a good header off a Kennedy free kick but Hamilton held on thereafter.
An entertaining game with both sides playing good football.
